The Rocky Mountain Collegiate Series came to a conclusion in Denver with the University of Colorado at Boulder winning the RMCS Overwatch 2 tournament. Four teams competed in a round robin competition to determine two finalists. CU Boulder and Denver University emerged to face off in a best-of-five final, which Colorado ended up winning 3-0 to cap off a dominant tournament performance.
Fortnite in Philly
Localhost Philly hosted the Philadelphia Electrical and Technology Charter School’s (PETCHS) Afterschool Esports and Gaming Club's Fortnite tournament on Nov 20. The Chargers competed in some battle royale team challenges including an eliminations race, "Security Detail" challenge where they had to protect the NPC bosses once they joined their squad, and co-op corners challenge where each member dropped at an opposite corner of the map and had to regroup in the center without being downed.
Frag at Rowan
Fragadelphia was back in the building at Rowan last month for the third edition of Frag Jersey. Sixteen teams signed up for another exciting CS2 tournament. Four teams made it out of the group stage into a single elimination bracket stage with Gibbsters coming out on top over Revel. The next Frag Jersey is coming up at the end of December.

With the conclusion of Nerd Street’s Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Series (MACS) in Philly and Rowan, and the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Series (RMCS) in Denver, two winners came together for a fun showmatch. Rowan University, who won the MACS Rocket League tournament, and Fort Lewis College, who won the RMCS Rocket League tournament, faced off. Rowan ended up coming out on top, winning the best-of-seven series 4-1. Rowan raced out to a 3-0 lead before Fort Lewis won Game 4, but then Rowan closed things out in Game 5 to win the series.
